BONENT Signs Contract To Improve Member Service
R.J. Picciano, BA, CHT, OCDT, President of the Board of Nephrology Examiners Nursing Technology (BONENT) is pleased to announce that on November 11, 2006 the BONENT Board of Directors signed a contract with a new company for office management services.

“This is a very exciting day for our Board and the future of BONENT,” said Ms. Picciano. After research, interviews and proposals from ten companies, the Board is extremely pleased with its decision.”

Anas Marketing & Management (AMM) of Washington DC (www.anasmm.com), will provide complete association management services. Peter Anas, President of AMM, will serve as the new BONENT Executive Director. “We are thrilled with AM&M’s history of exemplary customer service - our members will be happy, says BONENT Vice President Carol Johnson, RNC, MSN, CS, FNP, CPDN, CNN.. “They also bring a unique expertise in association marketing, which will improve member communications.”

BONENT will be moving its Executive Office to Washington DC and will be fully functional as of February 1, 2006. The transition process is already in progress.

Established in 1974, BONENT is known for its three nursing and technologist certification programs with over 9000 exams taken by its 3900 national and international members:

  • Certified Hemodialysis Technologist/Technician Examination
  • Certified Hemodialysis Nurse Examination
  • Certified Peritoneal Dialysis Nurse Examination

BONENT also provides an online practice exam for Nephrology Technologists and Technicians.

The BONENT Board has been planning the necessary steps to take its organization to the next level. “Our new partnering company will help solidify BONENT as the premier international organization for certification of nephrology professionals,” says Ms. Picciano.
